Photo Booth Hire
Photo booth hire is becoming more and more popular for weddings and other events, being something that the kids and adults can enjoy alike. Quirky Photo Booths provided a themed photo booth on the day, with a green screen so that guests could choose their background - and it was certainly loved by all ages!
At the Keythorpe Manor wedding, the vintage caravan booth named Dolly not only served as a fun activity for guests (as well as a key focus of conversations!), but the photos helped capture more of the fun. And at the end of the special day, a fab selection of snapshots were pinned into a signed scrapbook for the bride and groom, and some taken home as keepsakes by guests. It was such an interesting idea and one that we’ve not seen at many of the events we’ve worked at, but definitely one to consider if you are planning your next event – wedding or not!
Chair Massage and Reflexology
Our chair massage was once again a hit, keeping adults happy as the kids got on a sugar high from the ice cream and sweetie stall. Although we do a lot of events, some weddings planners are still just discovering how massage can work as part of the day, since many might think that a massage would mess up a nice outfit or hairdo – not what you want at a wedding! Especially if you’re about to pay the photo booth a visit!
But chair massage of course doesn’t require oils, or for the individual to remove any clothing, and for those with outfits they didn’t want creasing, our hand reflexology went down a treat. For those that wanted their pretty up-do’s or gelled masterpieces left be, our Leicester based therapists Lizzie and Gemma simply gave an extra five minutes on the shoulders!
Whilst we may be biased of course when we say that massage is an awesome wedding activity, the ladies both got some wonderful feedback both on the day and afterwards, as the guests continued to pass on their thanks to the newlyweds. Having wedding activities such as massage or photos can help buffer the day between the ceremony, the photos, the dinner, and finally the dancing, and massage itself can just bring another wonderful element of enjoyment for guests – as well as making the day that much more memorable!
Ice Cream Stall
The last activity that the Keythorpe Manor wedding boasted was an ice cream stall – in fact, an ice cream tricycle – which was much-loved by the kids (and enjoyed by our therapists too!). Offering six gorgeous flavours of ice cream including rhubarb and custard and white chocolate and honeycomb, 2 sorbets, waffle cones or tubs, flakes, fudge sticks, sauces and sprinkles, Living The Cream’s make your own treat wedding activity was a match made in heaven with the glorious weather.
Plus combined with the vintage sweet stall that the couple arranged, it was certainly a sweet arrangement!
We were so honoured, as we always are, to be part of such a special day and we hope by showing you more about what we do and showcasing some of the other wonderful wedding activities out there that others might also get inspired to do something similar! Weddings are all about love and caring for one another, so if there is any way that you can take better care of your guests or make the day more fun and memorable, you might as well! You only get these special days once!
